Warren Morris is a non-practicing lawyer, who acts as a mediator, arbitrator, and adjudicator. Warren has expertise in commercial contracts, partnership disputes, estate disputes and workplace mediation. He has a unique ability to simplify complex matters and creates an atmosphere for resolving conflict. The ADR Institute of Canada has granted Warren the designation CHARTERED MEDIATOR (C.Med) in recognition of his experience, education and expertise in the field of mediation.

Since 1999, Warren has successfully mediated numerous complex matters, ranging from multi-party financial reorganizations to sensitive workplace and estate disputes. Warren’s relaxed style assists clients, both individuals and corporations, to feel at ease during mediation sessions, providing an atmosphere conducive to settlement.

Currently, Warren is a part-time member of the Assessment Review Board, the Environment Review Board and the Board of Negotiation where he adjudicates and mediates real estate related matters.

Warren has facilitated mediations for the Ontario Mandatory Mediation Program, Canadian Human Rights Commission, the Farm Debt Mediation Service and the General Insurance OmbudService for Ontario. Warren is also on a panel providing Independent Third Party Review of management decisions of the Canada Revenue Agency and the Canada Food Inspection Agency. Warren’s teaching includes acting as a Dispute Resolution Educator for the York University – Advanced Certificate in Dispute Resolution program, and as a mediation coach for CDR Associates (Boulder, Colorado) and the Stitt Feld Handy – University of Windsor Faculty of Law, ADR Workshops.

Warren has an undergraduate degree in Economics (B. Com.) from McGill University (1986), a Law degree from the University of Western Ontario (1989), and a Masters of Law specializing in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School of York University (2001).
